Marketing Communications Manager



Implix is a dynamic Internet software company that provides highly acclaimed e-commerce and e-business products, services and infrastructure environments for small and medium companies (SMBs) in the United States and Europe.



Implix is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager at its headquarters in the beautiful city of Gdynia, Poland.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include marketing & communications for the Implix brand and range of Implix Internet products. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, and working in the Sales and Marketing Department, which is undergoing constant development, the successful candidate will possess a good understanding of the business in order to lead effective marketing activities.

  • Supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives on international markets (US as the primary target but European as well, including the Polish market).

  • Evaluating the competitive environment and the positioning of existing products and services.

  • Advising on all elements of the marketing mix, including products and services, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, and sales channels.

  • Establishing PR strategy and cooperating with external PR agencies, and also acting, if necessary, as media spokesperson.

  • Working closely with the marketing team to develop marketing communications and campaigns and content distribution plans for websites, various campaigns, newsletters, webinars, whitepapers, blog articles, etc.

  • Providing writing and editing support for created communications materials, including promotional materials, press releases, website content, newsletters, presentations, case studies, brochures, direct mailings, data sheets, internal marketing bulletins, etc.

  • Collaborating to define and drive corporate social media strategy, including managing and monitoring company and product brands online using Social Media and various tools and networks.

  • Reviewing and modifying existing online promotional activities and website content for marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines. Improving conversion rates and marketing key performance indicators.

  • Sharing knowledge and educating other colleagues on techniques and best practices to yield optimal results from online marketing activities.

  • Coordinating and participating in web product development and management, through initial product concept and testing to ongoing monitoring.

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelors degree in business, communications, marketing or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years full-time work experience, of which at least 2 years in the Internet industry. Experience in B2B will be a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Internet technology, web development processes and the latest web design trends.
  • Strong understanding of online customer psychology, behavior and expectations.
  • Expertise in online marketing and web-based user acquisition methods and proven experience executing targeted online campaigns that produce positive results.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and well developed skills in building and maintaining company and product brands and relationships.
  • Intermediate knowledge of both web and marketing metrics, experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords and SEO activities.
  • Experience in web design and conceptualizing (process designs and application mock-ups), developing and managing consumer portals would be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of online applications usability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrating a hands-on approach.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for quality, with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits.
  • Experience in developing printed promotional materials and trade show marketing will be a bonus.
  • Fluent Polish and English.
  • Good copywriting skills.
